Time passed

February 18, 2017

A completely lost day
In the string of moments
Thought of as time
How could it be missed
Yet all seem unaware
If the time that slipped
Right through their grasping hands
Mixing with all other time
Becoming irrelevant

Time of day

July 28, 2016

Some days are trying
Others feel more rewarding
Sadly some just lull

May 1, 2016

The clock keeps ticking
Even after the last life
Has since departed

March 11, 2016

Midnight has gone past
Once again it is too late
Never enough time

February 2, 2016

Funny thing how time can slip
Like grains of sand
Through your fingers
And into the wind
Never to be held again.
It’s amazing
How quickly we can forget
The simple facts
Like how life
Is as fragile and fleeting
As time.

Sometimes the clock ticks
As fast as you want it to
Sometimes it does not

May 18, 2015

The paper sky
Slowly ripping back
Revealing the dark
Cold truth
We all knew was back there.
Behind the thin sky
Lies vast emptiness
Even by the smartest human
It stretches beyond our knowledge
It pushes out past time itself
And consumes all in it’s wake
We too shall be consumed
