A different three words

January 26, 2015

I’m done.
I’m done.
I’m done.
I’m done.
I’m done.
We’re done.

How Dare You

February 2, 2014

How dare you
Break the sanctity
Of that thing
You claim so holy
How dare you
Drag me deep
Within your guilt
And suffocate me
How dare you
Ostracize your kin
Pushing away
So you can sin
How dare you
Tell me I’ve lost god
When your the one
Who’s in the wrong

Roses Aren’t Red

May 11, 2013

She bit her red lip
And showed her pearly whites
Before leaving him

A Matter of Perspective

January 14, 2013

A trial
By his peers
Was impossible
For he was
Older than
The seven seas
And far wiser
Than any who
Dared look at him
That day.
Adorned in orange
Like a flower
Ready to be picked.
Whose to say
Such an old
And wise man
Could have killed
Without justice?
For wasn’t he
The great grandfather
Of the poor girl
Who was raped
By the very police
Placing him on trial.

Pin Hole

December 5, 2012

A pin hole;
Small, round, dark.
A prick;
Suddenly there.
Then it grows.
Out, and out, and out
Creating a want
A desire
A primitive need
To close it.
To fill it.
To make it gone.
But no matter what
Is put in that hole,
It only tears the edges
Expanding it;
Until one day,
It reaches the point
Of consumption.

Lost Data

November 7, 2012

Failing technology
Deleting data
As if it were
Never there.
Magically gone
To cyber space
Without even
Leaving a trace
Oh where
Oh where
Has my data gone?
Gone away
For so long
Never to be seen
Never to be read
Oh dear!
Oh dear!
How much I dread
This disappearing data
Without a thread.
My words are gone
Taken from me
No one will read
No one will see!

Chavez Es Va

October 7, 2012

The people want him out
In the streets they all shout
But the rich want him in
So they can continue to sin
He hates the states, and is oil backed
He’d go as far as being attacked
His oil pipes keeping him in green
His disgusting tactics hardly seen
Kept in power far too long
His militant stronghold, a little too strong
The people fear him like they haven’t a choice
And what is democracy without a voice
In a day I’m afraid to say
That he will be there to stay
Another term in office no doubt
And in the streets they all must shout
Oh ah!
Chavez no se va!
