The Final Moments

May 30, 2013

In this final moment
This last wisp of air
Will I find my maker
Or just endless despair

In the last seconds
Before heavens gate arrives
Will it fade to darkness
Or will I continue to survive

In this last encounter
With the warm and golden sun
Will I still be conscious
Or is my mind done?

In the last sequence
Before I exit stage left
Will it swallow me whole
Or slide me into it’s cleft

Her bed was empty
And her belly full
Mountains of doubt
She just didn’t know
Where to turn
In a time of need
The one who hurt her
With his greed
Left her with nothing
But his poisoned seed
And without warning
She’d cease to bleed
At this point
Her faith was sealed
There was no court
She couldn’t have appealed
For it was her mistake
As much as it was his
And it’ll be her child
As long as she lives

The Great Sea

Waves of reality
Breaking the vale
Of hopes dreams and desires

Of strands
Lay before the eyes
Making one believe
They still have
A fighting

Ford Train

May 27, 2013

A puff
Of the pipe
A pull
A drag
Fire below
Round and round
Beneath a round
And round face
That of a child
Grown old
But never
Grown up
Why this city
Got derailed
The gravy train
May have been
But at least
It wasn’t

Summer sun

A day of sun light
Bittersweet wind kissing my skin
The perfect summer
